!BIR-MAR-DEA: Descensents of Johann Ludwig Marsteller (1722-1780) Family Tree Maker. Dated 20 Apr 2000. !BIR-MAR-DEA-BUR: Records of Bobby Eschenbaum, E-Mail bobby@turtlecreek.net. Dated 20 Nov 2000. !NOT: On the sixth day of Dec, AD 1862, personally appeared before the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace within and for the County of Centre, PA, Catherine Wenrick, a resident of Centre County, State of PA, age 69 years, who being first duley sworn, accoding to the law, doth on her make the following declaration, in order to obtain the benifits of the provisions made by the Act of congress approved 11 Jul 1862; that she w widow of John Wenrick, late of Centra County, deceased, and mother of Wm Wenrick, who was a private in Company G, Commander by Capt Wm H Blaire, in the 51st Reg. of PA, Vol, in the year of AD 1861, that he said son died at the Citzens Vounteer Hospital, Phidelphia, on the 25th of Nov 1862, of diarrhea, contacted while in the serviceof the United States as appear by a letter dated 26th Nov 1862, Phildelphia from (?) of said Hospital to the declaration. She further declares that her daid con, upon whom she was wholly or in part dependent for support, having lefy no widow or a minor child under sixteen years of age surviving, declarante makes this declaration and application for a pension under the above mentioned act, and refers to the evidence filed herewith, and that in the proper department, to establish her claim. She also declares that she has not in any way been engaged in or aided or abetted the rebellion in the United States; that she is not in receipt of a pension under 2nd Section of the act above mentioned or under any other act, not has she again married since the death of her son, the said Williom Wenrich/k and I do hereby (?) and appoint George(?), my true and lawful Attorney to receive the same when allowed.
