Snyder County PA Wills and Probate Date probated: 7/31/1823 Date made: 9/18/1823 Name of deceased: Christopher Kline Township: Beaver Heirs: Wife: Catherine; Children: Michael, John, Peter, Barbara Krick, Catherine (Mrs. Jeremiah Gift) taxed in Penn Township for the first time in 1776. In 1785, he was assessed with 75 acres and personal property. He lived in that section, which after 1787, became Beaver Township. 1790 - 3 sons, 2 daughters. This also matches his will. There may have been other children that did not live to adulthood but does indicate that this Christopher was Christopher Jr. and not Sr. (re: 1790 census) |
