Pinnow, 79, of Orangeville, Illinois, passed away June 15, 2007 at Provena-St. Joseph Nursing Center in Freeport, IL. She was born March 14, 1928 in Rock Grove, IL, the daughter of Rev. Frank and Bertha (Wunsch) Kissinger. Doris married Gene D. Pinnow on May 1, 1948 in Pontiac, Illinois. Gene passed away on April 11, 2005. Doris enjoyed playing bingo and watching baseball, golf, and football on television, especially the Green Bay Packers. She loved spending time with her family especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and always was looking forward to family outings. Surviving is a son, William (Linda) Pinnow of Orangeville, Illinois; a daughter; Susan (Thomas) Bodvig of McConnell, Illinois; four grandchildren: Marci (Jacob) Boss of Monroe, WI, Brandon Pinnow of Orangeville, IL, Joseph (Erin) Thomm of Orangeville, IL, Jason (Stephanie) Thomm of Orangeville, IL; two great-grandchildren: Magnus Thomm, Joseph Thomm Jr.; three step-great-grandchildren: Ashley Biehl, Brittany Biehl and Brooke Biehl; and a sister, Ruth Tholen of Pontiac, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Paul and Charles Kissinger. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Cramer-Leamon Funeral Home in Orangeville, Illinois. Pastor James Ketzel will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2007 at Cramer-Leamon Funeral Home Orangeville, Illinois. Burial will be in Oneco Township Cemetery in Oneco, Illinois. |
